Martin Luther School has a legendary Athletic Program in which our students compete against other schools in the Private Schools Athletic Association and against each other in our intramural program.
Martin Luther School also offers young student-athletes three seasons in which to compete in Inter-Scholastic Sports. Martin Luther School is a charter member of the Private Schools Athletic Association (PSAA) and the New York State Association of Independent Schools and competes in many local and regional games and tournaments against private, PSAL and Catholic High School Athletic Association (CHSAA) schools. All athletic teams and events are governed by regulations formulated by the New York State Association of Independent Schools. This ensures standardized and fair competition throughout.
Martin Luther’s Athletic Department gives students the opportunity to participate in intramural tournaments against their classmates, other classes and even the faculty and staff! These popular events include basketball, volleyball, soccer and floor hockey competitions.
Athletes must maintain a grade point average of 70 to remain a team member in good standing.
