We are so appreciative and blessed by the amount of support and attendance we received at this year's Harvest Fest & Open House. Martin Luther School students, faculty, and administration welcomed families for a day of tours, admissions guidance, games, food and fun! We had a blast -- and we hope you did too! If you missed out, here are some highlights from the day!

1. Our Admissions Team was beaming with excitement!

The Admissions Department, lead by our new Director of Admissions Amanda Slinger, has been busy planning the events of the day for the past few months. Everyone was excited to meet new families and share all of the many great opportunities we provide for our Cougars including college credits, a number of diverse clubs, music and the arts, sports, and Cougar pride! Thank you to our Admissions Team for your hard work and dedication to showcasing how great our school community is to everyone...even all the little future Cougars who attended!

2. Our "Reset for Growth" initiative launched at the beginning of the term and was showcased by our School's new look ...inside and out!

Harvest Fest 17 was the perfect opportunity to share the results of the half-million dollar investment by our Board of Directors so that MLS can be our best ever. Starting with improvements and updates to our building, adding new technology and even fresh, new signage on the school with our new logo, we had a busy summer making improvements to reset MLS for Growth! If you missed seeing how fresh and bright our school looks now, come see us and check us out...we can't wait to meet you and show you around!

3. Fun and games for the whole family!

We had a lot of family-friendly competition throughout the day. The newest addition to our games this year - the airplane toss. Student, parents, teachers, and even administrators lined up to see who could "fly" their airplanes the farthest. Parents vs. kids, coaches vs. players, teachers vs. students - we could not believe the competition! Congrats to Payge Lecakes, MLS Junior, who had the longest throw...by far...even farther than her Dad's (Bishop Lecakes)!

4. The new photo wall!
Everyone was welcomed on our "MLS red carpet" as we took family photo shoots in front of our new Martin Luther School photo wall! Big smiles, a lot of laughs, and photos for everyone that stepped on our red carpet. Check out or Harvest Fest album on Facebook to find your photos and share!

5. To all our new and not-so-new attendees..."thanks for coming"!

Families, students, volunteers, alumni, our Board & Administration, and new visitors! We were so excited to welcome so many new faces and say welcome home to so many returning faces at one of our favorite annual events. We are grateful for our enthusiastic volunteers who go above and beyond every year - we could not do it without you! We are also blessed that so many new families are interested in sending their children here this Spring and next year - we are only a phone call away if you have more questions. We got to see a lot of Cougar Alumni walking the Halls of MLS again - welcome back and thank you for your ongoing support. Another big thank you to our Administration, Teachers, and Board for being the backbone of the event, showing our visitors how wonderful it is to be a part of our MLS community and family. We are already looking forward to seeing everyone at Harvest Fest '18 next year!
