Identification Upon Entering the Building
For the safety of our students, all faculty, staff, and students are issued, and required to wear, their I.D. Cards on their school-issued lanyard. I.D. Card replacement costs $5.
All visitors entering the building during the school day must enter through the front doors, present identification and wear a visitor's pass, visible at all times.
Approved school uniform coordinates are sold through FlynnO'Hara Uniforms. The "Ways to Order Your Uniform" image links to the FlynnO'Hara website and allow you to view all of the coordinate choices.
Shoes & Footwear:
Students are required to wear a closed heel and toe dress shoe. All school shoes must be solid black. No other colors will be permitted. Shoes may not display logos or other markings. Solid color athletic shoes, sneakers, sandals, etc., will not be permitted.
Cougar Gear, Athletic Wear, Special Events:
Students are permitted to wear certain Cougar Gear or Athletic Wear (not athletic uniforms) provided they are fully compliant with the dress code.
At the discretion of the administration, students are allowed to "dress down" for special events. Guidelines are communicated to students before special events. Failure to comply with guidelines, including earning too many infractions may result in revoking these privileges.
Gently Used Coordinates:
Each summer a number of gently used coordinates are donated to the school by graduating students. These coordinates are checked for stains, holes, and pulls, and are laundered. Used coordinates are sold for $5 a piece and are available August 1. Please call the Main Office 718.894.4000 for more information.
Students are expected to arrive and leave school in full dress code compliance. During inclement weather, students may wear boots into the building but must change into dress shoes.
For more information on the dress code, please refer to the Student Handbook.
