Dress Code Information

2010-2011 School Year

TO:      All Parents and Guardians

RE:       Lands’ End School Coordinates

Dear Parents and Guardians,

It is the responsibility of both the parent/guardian and the student to make sure that the dress code is observed each and every day. Martin Luther's dress code is published in the Parent and Student handbook on page 

ONCE AGAIN, I AM ANNOUNCING THAT IN THE 2010-2011 SCHOOL YEAR, THE COLORS ALLOWED FOR THE POLO SHIRTS FOR FRESHMEN, SOPHOMORES  JUNIORS, AND SENIORS  WILL BE THESE FIVE COLORS :  RED, WHITE, NAVY BLUE, BLACK AND BURGUNDY.  So as you order your polo shirts for the upcoming year, you may want to keep this in mind.  

In  the 2010-2011 school year, All Students must order the polo shirts and sweaters with the  SCHOOL LOGO imprinted on it.

I ask you to remember that the students are to wear dress shoes to school:  NO SNEAKERS OR ATHLETIC FOOTWEAR of any type are allowed.  Nike, Champion, Diesel, Puma, etc., are not allowed.  Also, please remember that shoes may only be black, navy blue or dark brown.  There may be no different color markings or emblems on the shoe; it should only be one solid color. Slippers of anykind and backless shoes are not allowed. Boots of anykind are not allowed in school. If it is raining or snowing, the students may wear boots to school, but they must change into their shoes before school begins.

I ask for your continued help to ensure that your child is dressed correctly each day.  This is a very important part of our school policy and discipline.  Thank you for your cooperation.
