"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."
-2 Timothy 3:16-17 (ESV)-
All students at Martin Luther take courses in basic Christian theology and doctrine. All students, upon the beginning of the school year, receive a Bible to study and keep.
Middle School religion classes focus on thematic units focusing on the study of the Bible and Scriptural application to our everyday lives.
Once students enter High School, theology classes become more specific. In 9th Grade, theology focuses on the study of the Old Testament while 10th Grade Theology studies the New Testament.
In 11th and 12th Grade, students explore topics in Christian Ethics and Comparative Religions.
For some students, the teachings are brand new; for others, the classes serve to enhance and explore their beliefs deeper. For all, the saving grace of Jesus Christ through His death and resurrection is presented.
