“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”
-2 Timothy 3:16-17 (ESV)
All students at Martin Luther take courses in basic Christian theology and doctrine. All students, upon the beginning of the school year, receive a Bible to study and keep.
Middle School religion classes focus on thematic units focusing on the study of the Bible and now to recognize and live out those themes in our everyday lives.
High School theology classes are more specific.
- 9th Grade Theology class is Old Testament
- 10th Grade Theology class is New Testament
- 11th Grade Theology class is Christian Ethics
- 12th Grade Theology class is Comparative Religions
For some students, the teachings are brand new; for others, the classes serve to enhance and explore their beliefs deeper. For all, the saving grace of Jesus Christ through His death and resurrection is presented.
