Quarter 2 ends this Friday, January 18th, with Regents and Midterms taking place Jan. 22nd - Jan. 25th. There will be no school on Martin Luther King, Jr day, January 21st. Semester 2 begins on January 29th. Please see the schedule below for the dates and times of each exam. Middle School has a regular schedule that week.

Homecoming is this coming Friday, January 18th! Please spread the word to alumni as well. There will be a special unveiling of a gift to the Athletic Department followed by The Girls' Varsity Basketball Game. The Girls will play St. Demetrios at 4pm followed by a social in the Cafeteria. 

The Homecoming Dance is 7-10pm in the Gymnasium. This is a semi-formal event, meaning it is an opportunity for you to dress up. Students are allowed to come to school dressed up for the school day on Friday. Join us as we crown the Homecoming King & Queen. Please see guidelines for Homecoming below.

Homecoming Guidelines

It is the responsibility of each attendee to understand and abide by the following guidelines and procedures. All MLS students are subject to disciplinary measures as listed in MLS Student Code of Conduct.

· If a student is absent from school he/she is not allowed to attend.

· MLS students may bring 1 (one) invited guest only. If you are bringing a guest, please let Mrs. Younghese or Ms. Boyle know ahead of time. Guest must present a valid picture ID to gain entrance to the dance. 

·Attendees are only admitted into the dance during the first hour (7-8). Once a student or guest leaves the building, he/she will not be re-admitted.  All must sign in.

·Former students that didn't graduate from MLS must be approved by the administration to attend.

·Coats, caps or any outer garments shall not be worn during the dance- they must be checked in.  Students will not have access to upstairs lockers or locker rooms.

·Inappropriate dance styles can result in the dance being suspended.

·Do not to bring valuables to the dance.

·Dismissal is 10pm sharp – all attendees must ensure arrangements for pick up are on time.

DRESS CODE: This is a semi-formal event, which means you dress up, not dress down. You may dress up for school on Friday 1/18.

No sneakers/denim/jeans/sweatpants/cargo/leggings of any color, nothing ripped/torn or frayed.  Dress shoes/ boots, suits/ties, dresses, skirts permitted
