Week 3 of the 2019-20 School Year
The Lord is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation;
this is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him.
We completed a fantastic first full week of school! We installed our new teachers and commissioned and installed our called workers, including our Executive Director, James Regan, at our Opening Service this past Wednesday.
This coming Wednesday, the 18th, is Back To School Night. This is a great opportunity to meet your child's teachers! Tours will be available for those parents that would like to get another look at our school. Back to School Night also marks the beginning of our World's Finest Chocolate & Yankee Candle Sale lead by our Cougar Parent Club. All proceeds are invested right back into your child's education.
Ms. Boyle reminded our students that it is a great time to begin completing their service hours. There are many service opportunities at MLS. Students can volunteer to help with the Volleyball Tournament this coming weekend, Open House on Oct. 19th, Holiday Vendor Fair on Nov. 23rd, the Basketball Tournament in December and much more. There are also opportunities to assist with mailings and other events. Grant In Aid hours are hours completed at MLS. Service hours can be completed at MLS, your church, or at a community event.
See you all on Wednesday!
