Martin Luther embodies Christ's love for a diverse community, where our students are encouraged to grow in faith and flourish in academics, the arts, athletics, and life.
From its beginning in the 1960's, MLS has developed a student body rich in ethnic, religious, economic, and social diversity underpinned by our deep respect for the beliefs of all others - a tradition that continues today.
Students are encouraged to participate in our artistically diverse programs during their time at MLS. Many of our past students have gone on to pursue music and/or the arts in their college careers.
A small, private Christian School. Established in 1960. We have a long history within the community.
We strive to challenge the mind and body to shape Christian character so that students succeed as God’s people in this world.
Martin Luther School is accredited by the New York State Board of Regents, New York State Association of Independent Schools, and the Middle States Association.
We bring together a college preparatory curriculum and an emphasis on Christian values.
I like the individualized help I receive from the teachers and I made some great friends at Martin Luther.
I have been a fan of Martin Luther for many years, first as a student there and subsequently as an alumnus. Martin Luther provides an excellent small school alternative to the NYC public school system.
Everyday is An Open House here. You will be given the opportunity to meet our students, staff and faculty and you can sign up to be a ‘Cougar for a Day’,
where you will shadow a current MLS student and experience a day at our school.
We know searching for a Middle School (grades 6-8) or a High School (grades 9-12) can be a grueling process,
but we are here to assist you and answer your questions.
The teachers at MLS always go above and beyond when it comes to my education. I feel comfortable with approaching my teachers with any questions, guaranteeing that I have no reason to struggle.
